Our Story

RS Furniture was created in 2016 and in a short time has gone on to become one of the UK’s leading sofa wholesalers for mid market products.

Our story did not just start in 2016 however, RS Furniture was a company created just to launch our range of imported recliner sofas.

Previous to this we ran a UK sofa manufacturing operation for many years. Our experience in manufacturing has given us the edge when sourcing products overseas for the UK market. We have the knowledge to look into the quality of each item that keeps us a step ahead of our competitors.

Our team visit factories all over the world to identify products that we can bring to the UK market.  In addition to this we use our exclusive relationships with overseas factories to design our own exclusive items.

In a short period of time we have changed the UK wholesale market making high quality value for money sofas available to UK retailers at the best prices.

We are continually working on new ranges and use the large UK trade shows to launch our new lines twice per year.

We help retailers by only stocking fast selling items, for this reason we constantly review our ranges and are not afraid to discontinue items that don’t reach our sales targets. This process ensures that we don’t have slow selling items taking up valuable UK warehouse space and retailers don’t have slow selling items taking up valuable retail floor space.

Response times are essential for retailers so we pride ourselves on our exclusive customer service. By keeping a large amount of UK stock, based in our 3 warehouses, this allows us to respond quickly and get orders out as soon as possible.

Our two tier pricing systems offers a price for items delivered directly to your shop or warehouse premises and a second price which allows a small discount for you to collect yourself from our Oldham based warehouse.

We have only one condition to our sales, all items must be paid for when collecting them or when we deliver. We work on a pro-forma basis only and have no facility to offer credit terms to customers. We understand that this does not suit everyone but this is the reason we are able to offer great products at such keen prices.
